I’m intrigued by the idea of considering the opposite. I’m trying to think of a problem it might be a useful technique for. I also want to read the book Disrupt & go and annoy some people with some challenging ideas.

Considering the opposite is a great technique if you want to instantly broaden your options. The next time you’re grappling with a problem, think about the “normal” solution, and then think about the opposite of that. Your brilliant idea will be somewhere in between! And yes, “Disrupt” really makes you think outside the box.
