Put yourself in the shoes of your user or key stakeholder using one of these techniques:
- share a “day in the life of”
- create an “empathy map” of their current experience
- map out their full user journey
Collect insights, stories, and real-life observations if you can.
- what are their biggest pain points?
- what are their happy moments?
- what surprised you?
- what opportunities to improve their experience did you spot?
Ask everyone in the team to spend some time interviewing and observing a user or key stakeholder.
