  • How often do you step into the shoes of your user or key stakeholders?
  • What would be the benefits of you doing this more?
  • How could you set this up and what would you do differently?
  • How would you integrate your key learnings?

  • Step into their shoes and work through each stage of The Empathy Map
  • What did you learn about them?
  • What might be their biggest pain points?
  • How would they like things to be in the ideal world?

What fresh ideas did you come up with?

  • What changes are you going to make?
  • What benefits did you gain from using this process?
  • How could you use the Empathy Map more in your concept development process?

Bring the group together and identify your ideal customer.

Together, create a detailed persona for this customer and clarify their main goals.

Then break into small groups and have each group step into the shoes of that customer and brainstorm on one element of The Empathy Map.
