Then think of a challenge you’re facing or a problem you want to solve.
Pose this as a question like “How might we…?”
- Then select a random spark card
- Notice any memories, thoughts, or ideas that spring immediately to mind
- Then pick another random spark card
- Note down any new thoughts
- Continue doing this for about six rounds
As you do this, go with the first thoughts that come into your mind, no matter how ridiculous they might seem.
Then “incubate” these ideas throughout the day being mindful of new connections and flashes of insight.

- Everyone notes down any new thoughts
