How does the AI Catalyst Lens™ work?
The AI Catalyst Lens™ combines a simple three-part framework with a coaching-led approach to help leaders and teams explore where AI can make a meaningful difference.
Rather than starting with AI tools, technology, or predetermined solutions, it starts with questions. Through structured conversations, people share what is really happening, learn from each other, challenge existing assumptions, and explore new possibilities.
The framework uses three lenses — Assess, Augment, and Amplify — to progressively widen the conversation, moving from understanding the current reality to improving how work gets done and exploring what AI could make possible next.
ASSESS – Where are we now?
Assess makes the current situation visible before trying to change it.
Here you explore how AI is already being used, people’s experience and confidence, concerns or resistance, capability gaps, and potential leadership blind spots.
Instead of starting with “Which AI tool should we use?”, Assess starts with a better question: What is actually happening here, and what matters most?
AUGMENT – Where can AI improve the work?
Augment looks for meaningful opportunities to improve how work gets done. That can include automation, but it goes much further.
AI might help you analyze information, spot patterns, generate possibilities, make sense of complexity, accelerate workflows, improve quality, and support decision-making.
The aim isn’t simply to find work AI can replace. It’s to discover where AI can help people work better, faster, smarter, or differently.
AMPLIFY – How can we create new value?
Amplify takes the conversation beyond efficiency.
If AI creates additional capacity, capability, insight, or speed, what could people and organizations now do with it?
Could you solve harder problems? Innovate more? Build stronger customer relationships? Develop new capabilities? Create new products, services or experiences? Do something that simply wasn’t practical before?
